Function Documentation

◆ keyProviderGetKey()

cboot_error_t keyProviderGetKey ( uint8_t *  key,
size_t *  keyLen
)

Retrieve the cipher key from the registered provider.

Parameters
[out]keyBuffer (KEY_PROVIDER_MAX_KEY_SIZE bytes) that receives the key
[out]keyLenLength of the retrieved key
Returns
Error code

◆ keyProviderRegisterCallback()

cboot_error_t keyProviderRegisterCallback ( KeyProviderCallback  callback)

Register cipher key provider callback function.

The callback is invoked by a CycloneBOOT consumer (IAP update library or second-stage bootloader) to obtain the cipher key at run time, instead of having the key statically configured. This lets the key live in a secure element (e.g. STSAFE) and never sit in flash.

Parameters
[in]callbackCipher key provider callback function
Returns
Error code
